I'm not one to attempt to look "hot". Actually I would prefer to look "pretty" or "girly" or "mature". But, when tempatures rise in Georgia the only way to not look like a hot mess is to plan outfits that keep you cool while still looking put together. I think the key is bright colors, delicate jewelry and practical shoes.
Now is a great time to take advantage of summer sales and stock up on those bright tops! I love the pink halter above from Banana Republic but this or this are great options too. And how cute are Dogeared's State of Mind necklaces? I am torn between one of Georgia or New Jersey :) I've made the mistake of buying cheap, poorly made sandals one too many times and sore feet are just not cute. Everlane's summer sandal is 100% leather which means they will last be totally worth the hefty price tag.
