Currently Following: Design Improvised

Don't you just love how a simple search for design inspiration can lead you to all corners of the web? That's essentially what happened when I was looking for office ideas on Apartment Therapy, saw Haeley's home office featured and then immediately checked out her blog.

She shares tons of DIY projects that are both simple and low budget- best of both worlds, right?

Haeley's ideas range from home office organization like revamping a file cabinet and simplifying craft supplies clutter, to adding simple touches to a cinder block or craft paper for an instantly updated look.

My personal favorite is definitely her stamped tea towel tutorial - perfect for an outdoor summer party, paired with snacks and cocktails for a group of girls!

What new blogs are you discovering and lovely lately?

Currently Following: In Honor of Design

I feel like I've been in a bit of a blogging fog as of recent, perhaps because I am still trying to create a normal routine as wedding weekends come and go. I'm going to give myself some grace and remember life is all about progress, not perfection. It has been a little while since I shared a blog I recently stumbled upon so I thought why not get that started back up? I found Anna Liesemeyer's blog In Honor of Design about a month ago and have thoroughly enjoyed following this Atlanta-based mommy-blogger!

Don't let the phrase mommy-blogger deter you either, as Anna features endless ideas on fashion, DIY projects, home design, and family life. And her family is gorgeous, by the way. Doesn't she seems like the type of woman you would want to grab coffee with, gab over celebrity hairstyles, and then ask to help you pick out a pair of jeans!? Maybe just me. Ha.

I really appreciate Anna's down-to-earth approach to life, marriage, work and style. Besides checking out her lovely blog, be sure to follow Anna on Instagram and Pinterest as well. xo

31 Bits: Fashion for Good

Have you heard of 31 Bits? I recently stumbled upon their website and love their business model, their mission of empowerment for women (and families) and of course, their jewelry.

"We believe true empowerment begins with caring for a person holistically and occurs when a person is completely self sustainable."

If you have time, I highly recommend reading through their Stories from Uganda to learn more about this wonderful company. Seeing the faces and names of the women behind the jewelry is inspiring as well. You could also host a party which I really want to do!

After perusing the website I decided my favorite necklaces are:

1. Freedom // 2. Jendy // 3. Luna

Wouldn't they be cute with a black jumpsuit or simple cotton dress? For more inspiration, visit the 31 Bits blog- which includes DIY ideas and recipes. You can also follow them on Pinterest!

Currently Following: Sugar & Cloth

Sugar & Cloth is not a new blog by any means, but I am a recent follower and love Ashley's style and DIY ideas. She lives in Houston, works for Smilebooth by day and blogs by night. I love that she also has a team of contributors to keep content new and fresh!

How cute are these leather drink tags? They would make for cool escort cards at a wedding as well. I like how Ashley keeps a balance of unique craft ideas and great recipes. If you're like me and enjoy easy, approachable crafts, this DIY blog will be a perfect new additional to your daily feed.

Sugar & Cloth's features always seem styled to perfection with tons of natural light- my personal favorite- and a great aesthetic. You can find a Ashley's home tour featured on The Everygirl and be sure to follow her on Instagram.

Currently Following: Lesley Graham

You know how some people on Pinterest seem like your visual/aesthetic soul mate? I think mine is Lesley Graham. A picture of her home tour on Pinterest led me to her blog (I know, I'm way late on this cool train) and now I can't get enough.

Lesley is a Georgia girl who writes about marriagemotherhood, DIY projects, style, killer recipes and so much more. Her Weekend Notes actually inspired me to start a consistent feature on what I appreciate about each week (more on that tomorrow).

I might be biased to her blog because she's a fellow red head, but I truly enjoy her authenticity and heart for writing. And I secretly hope I run in to her in Atlanta so I can tell her just how much I love her blog...but I think you will really like it too!

Currently Following: Cautiously Obsessed

Graphic designer Cristina Martinez has a sweet blog called Cautiously Obsessed that I discovered somehow through the inter webs of social media and Instagram (duh). I love her clean and simple aesthetic- I couldn't help but go back through her old posts and continued to find great design inspiration.

On her blog Cristina shares her recent projects, tips for working as a freelancer and other fun features like free wallpaper.  You can also check out her work through her shop!

Currently Following: Shanna Skidmore

I love following blogs for visual interest, but I especially love finding a new blog with insight and refreshing perspective - and Shanna Skidmore's blog has the best of both worlds! Shanna is a business development coach with a deep passion for helping women live (and work) with intent.

Her blog features helpful business tips on increasing your net worth, living with margin, and term definitions so you don't feel lost in any of the business jargon. Perhaps what's most refreshing about Shanna's blog is that she's honest and real about what's learning through the process as well. I recently met Shanna (as she also works for Amy Osaba) for a client's walk through and her gentle spirit is the real deal!

I've loved learning something new about business every week and I think you will too!

Currently Following: Royal Marigold

In between working on wedding timelines and reception layouts this week, I had to take some mental breaks to keep my sanity! One of my new favorite blogs to visit is Royal Marigold.

Sarah has a great eye for photography and shares beautiful DIY projects. One that I definitely want to try soon is the dip dyed cloth napkins she created for her wedding - which I actually need to create for a client of my own!

Among other things, Sarah shares small snip its of daily life, her lovely home and gorgeously styled tables. Be sure to check out her darling blog!

Currently Following: The Curtis Casa

It's no secret that I love to share a recent blog discovery and this week I have to declare my current obsession with The Curtis Casa! Somewhere on the inter-webs of social media I stumbled upon Whitney Curtis' instagram and then checked out her blog. I love her aesthetic and simple snapshots of life and industry inspiration.

She has some charming DIY's (see below) that I really want to try, shares Etsy finds, and home tours! What's not to love?

She also writes for Home Depot's The Apron Blog so be sure to check out her work there as well!

New Blog Obsession

I always love discovering a new blog with visual interest so imagine my joy when I stumbled upon You Are My Wild, which documents how 14 photographers see their children. The Atlanta based photographer, Dera Frances Whiteis teaching an iPhotography class through CAMP Workshops this August that I would love to attend! The beauty in every day life is just too good not to capture.
