It's November 13th and I've only had one other post this month. One. Shame on me and tsks tsks all around. Here's to hoping I can crank out the recent home updates, holiday meals and crafts inspiration! In the mean time, let's have some girl talk, shall we?
What is it about being a girl that makes us love doing the same things together? Striving for deep social connections is in every fiber of our being and as I get older I realize more and more how much I need my best friends and more friends.
Recently I've had quite a few coffee shop dates that make me so thankful for good conversation and sincere vulnerability. Every woman I know is working through something each day - whether it's friendships, dating, marriage, work, no work, or health - there is a battle unique to each of us.
Instead of focusing on myself and my "battle" (which in the grand scheme of things pales in comparison to others), I want to do a better job of simply listening. Instead of offering my opinion or even making judgments in my mind I want to cling to the fact that God created each of us with strengths and weaknesses and with the exact same amount of endless love.
What are lessons you have learned recently in the realm of friendships?

So, so true! Definitely cherish friendships that come easy, but also challenge me.
