For the second installment of wedding wednesdays and in honor of the recent engagement, I thought I would feature some of our engagement photos taken last fall by the lovely Olivia Mangrum. Over the course of our dating relationship, Tay and I took many pictures together so we didn't feel the need to spend a lot of money on a professional photographer. But, by having a close friend do our engagement pictures, it helped us feel more comfortable with our portraits on the big day.
I wanted to create a photo-booth look for our save-the-dates so we started off indoors with some props...
Then we went outside for simple (and goofy) shots on the front steps...
And finally, we drove out in Tay's old jeep to one of our favorite fields in Athens...
Overall, we were really happy with how they came out. I love seeing how couples get really creative with their engagement shoots. Here are some of my favorites from around the web:
